II. Working Principle
The automatic reject function of a paging machine is an important technology used to promptly remove non-conforming or incorrect packaging during production. This function can significantly improve production efficiency and product quality, including the following aspects:
Detection System
The paging machine is equipped with a variety of sensors (such as photoelectric sensors, infrared sensors or CCD cameras) for real-time detection of the state of the packaging. These sensors identify the size, thickness, color and other characteristics of the packaging.
Defect recognition: Through image processing technology, the system can recognize defects in the packaging (e.g. stains, creases, tears, etc.) as well as packaging that does not meet specifications. This enables the system to identify packaging that needs to be rejected in a timely manner.
Automatic Reject Mechanism
Reject device: When the sensor detects the non-conforming packaging, the system will be processed by an automatic reject device. This device is usually a pneumatic or mechanical device that quickly rejects the target packaging from the conveyor.
Reject Path Design: The design of the reject device takes into account the overall layout of the production line to ensure that the rejected packaging does not interfere with subsequent operations. Typically, the rejected packaging is guided to a special collection box or waste area.
Data Recording and Feedback
Real-time monitoring: The control system of the paging machine records the quantity and type of paper rejected each time, generating a detailed log. This data can be used for subsequent analysis to help improve the production process.
Operator Alerts: When a rejection occurs, the system typically displays an alarm or alert on the control panel to notify the operator for inspection or maintenance.
The automatic culling function is realised through the important steps mentioned above, helping companies to improve production efficiency.
